A visit to CDRI by HE Pablo Kang, Ambassador, Mr Luke Arnold, Deputy Ambassador, and Mr Seng Sokha, Governance Program Manager.

Australian delegation visited CDRI Knowledge Management Center, and discussed several issues of mutual interest. Specifically, the CDRI Senior Researchers and Leaders presented to the Australian high level visitor the 30- year history and development of CDRI, its current status and on-going strategic planning process. The opportunities for further strengthening partnership between CDRI and the Australian Embassy in the context of DFAT funded Ponlork Chamnes (knowledge institutions) program as well as future cooperation were also explored. Both teams look forward to working together to i) strengthen engagement for research uptake and policy impacts in Cambodia and the Indo Pacific region; ii) deepen research collaborations between CDRI and think tanks in Cambodia and Australia; and iii) exchange information on long term strategic directions in the field of quality infrastructure, water and renewable energy, and capacity development and innovation etc.
