LONN Pichdara, PhD


Lonn Pichdara obtained Ph.D. degree in the field of forest management at Kyushu University, Japan, in 2018. His dissertation is on the effectiveness of community based natural resource management for forest conservation and livelihood improvement in Cambodia.

He has been working as a researcher in natural resources and environment program at Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) since 2008. He conducted policy-oriented researches mainly on community-based ecotourism, community forestry, forest dependents, climate change, water, and natural resource management in Cambodia. He has written research and journal articles in ecological economics, forests, and sustainability.
