On 19 December 2024, CDRI had the pleasure of welcoming His Excellency Ambassador Santo Darmosumarto and his delegation from the Embassy of the Republic Indonesia in Phnom Penh to the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI). During the visit, CDRI shared its work, mission, and strategic priorities for the coming five years and the following years. September 30, 2020, at 11.30 in MEF, HE Vongsey Visoth, Secretary of State, MEF, met with Dr. Sokhem Pech, CDRI Executive Director, and Mr. Sen Sina, External Relation Officer, to discuss the steps for implementing the MOU on collaboration. HE Visoth encouraged CDRI to be responsive to the needs for information and knowledge to make a timely decision and long-term strategic planning.
CDRI researchers engaged with the Australian thinktanks to explore strategies for research communication and discussed potential collaborations with the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership. In addition, there was a focus group discussion with Australian Council for International Development and Asia-Pacific Development, Diplomacy & Defence Dialogue centred on research uptake and policy engagement, and they also visited Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions at Australian National University to discuss climate change economics and policy.
