On 31 January 2024, CDRI’s Education Centre convened a meeting with the participation of Publishing and Distribution House, World Education, and software development companies (Coolbeans and Codingate) to enhance the Track and Trace (TnT) system, a digital platform managing textbook supply in Cambodia. This meeting was a follow-up to the LIBROS-Cambodia study, aiming to utilise the evidence generated from the main study. The project seeks to strengthen public-private partnerships, thereby improving access to textbooks for Cambodian students.
Dr Eng Netra, CDRI Executive Director joined a symposium focusing on the Socio-Economic Impact Assessment (SEIA) that organised by United Nations in Cambodia. This event was led by UNICEF Cambodia, the World Food Programme, and the Asian Development Bank Cambodia. This symposium delved into the impact of the “poly-crisis” – COVID-19, inflation, and seasonal floods on vulnerable households, shedding light on their socio-economic situation.
The CDRI organised the third technical workshop on the Cambodia’s Vision 2030 study to refine research findings and identify the key policy options which are crucial for the country’s goal of becoming an upper-middle-income nation through resilient, inclusive, and sustainable growth.
