Start Date: 01/08/2024
End Date: 01/12/2021

Project Objective
The study aims to provide policy inputs into the current gender equality and climate change responses.
Project Description
Under Sida’s fund, the study aims to provide policy inputs into the current gender equality and climate change responses. To strengthen women’s adaptive capacity and encourage them to actively participate in decision-making processes into the process of climate change intervention, the study analyses the root causes of gender-based vulnerabilities to climate hazards and identifies how local women and men cope with the stresses. The study selects two case studies of fishery and forestry communities in Kampot and Preah Vihear provinces. To date, data collection was complete and analysing data and writing up the report are in progress.
