Ms YOU Saokeo Khantey joins CDRI as a research associate starting October 2018. She obtained her Master of Public Policy from KDI School of Public Policy and Management, and completed a one-year Korean Language Program from Kangwon National University, South Korea, through Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP), in 2018 and 2016, respectively. In 2014, she earned two Bachelors of Law from English Language Based Bachelor of Law (ELBBL) program and Khmer Law program, Royal University of Law and Economics.
During her study in South Korea, she had involved in different roles and leadership positions. She worked as a Student Ambassador of ASEAN-Korean Travel Mobile Application at ASEAN-Korean Centre, as an Intern at Korea Railway Network Authority, and lastly as a Freelancer at a Korean Company, Finger Inc. Whereas, in Cambodia, she was a Legal Assistant at HBS Law firm.
Khantey’s research interests include the enhancement of TVET quality, transition of labour market, narrowing skill gap and mismatch, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
