Minami is a doctoral student at Kobe University’s Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies and a research fellow of the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS). His research interests revolve around economics of education, and education policy using both quantitative and qualitative research methods. He obtained a Master’s degree in economics from Kobe University’s Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies and another Master’s degree in Public Administration from Fudan University, China. Minami has also been involved in a government-supported research project and has conducted his internship at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), UNICEF Tokyo Office and CDRI. During his internship program at CDRI, he has co-othered several papers published at CDRI.
