Public Relations and Events Officer
Ms ROS Chanvoleak is the Public Relations and Event Management Officer at CDRI, with her expertise in international relations and public policy. With a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Institute for International Studies and Public Policy, she has cultivated a deep passion for policy development and advocacy. Chanvoleak has demonstrated her leadership skills as the Program Lead of the Cambodia Youth Internet Governance Forum at Open Development Cambodia, where she organized the first youth-led internet protection program in the country. Her experience extends to roles at the International Committee of the Red Cross as a Detention Officer in promoting International Humanitarian Law and at Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport as a Communication Coordinator Intern in promoting quality education for all.
A fervent advocate for policy dialogue, Chanvoleak actively engages in national and international conferences. She has been a fellow at prestigious events such as the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF 2024) in Taiwan and the Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy (APIGA 2024) in Korea. Her participation in various cybersecurity, policy dialogue, and humanitarian workshops across Asia underscores her dedication to shaping vigorous policies for a better future. Chanvoleak's exceptional contributions have earned her numerous honour, including the Outstanding Award for Best Leader and Most Enthusiastic Fellow at APIGA and a Silver Medal for the ASEAN+3 Gifted in Science and Policy.
