TANN Boravin

Director

Mrs Boravin Tann is the Director of the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) at the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI). Prior to this role, Boravin worked as a senior academic researcher with extensive experience in conducting theoretical and field research as well as leading and managing research projects in collaboration with local and international non-governmental organisations and research institutions. She has published several scholarly articles in prominent regional and international peer-reviewed journals, including Australian Feminist Law Journal and International Journal of Human Rights. She has also lectured undergraduate students at the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) and the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), as well as provided capacity development training for lecturers and students at provincial universities in Cambodia. Her research interests include higher education, gender equality, human dignity, labour migration, freedom of association, and transitional justice processes in Cambodia. She received her Master of Law in international human rights law from Lund University (Sweden). She also holds dual bachelor’s degrees in law (RULE) and international studies (RUPP).
