Temugin Cattaneo is an Intern Researcher at the Centre for Development Economics and Trade (CDET) at CDRI. His current research focuses on Cambodia's industrial transformation, economic diversification, skills development, and the role of quality foreign direct investment (FDI) in supporting structural transformation and long-term economic growth in Cambodia. His broader research interests include international political economy, dollarisation, trade, and sustainable development.

Before joining CDRI, Temugin gained professional experience across Europe and Africa in project management, business operations, market research, and sustainable development. He has worked in the private sector in Norway and Italy and contributed to sustainable forestry management in Liberia, where he supported regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement on internationally certified forestry projects.

Temugin holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies, majoring in Agrarian, Food, Environment and Sustainability, with a specialisation in International Political Economy, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, International Relations and Global Affairs.
