Assessing Changes in Household Food Consumption and Nutrition Intake in Cambodia
Cambodia has changed a lot socially and economically. These changes have affected what people eat and their health. People are eating less rice, more protein and fats, and fewer green leafy vegetables. Unhealthy dietary choices are on the rise as it can lead to more obesity and diseases like diabetes and heart problems.
-
To understand these changes, this seminar aims to:
Provide an overview of the current situation and trends in Cambodia using the Cambodia Socio-Economic Survey (CSES) from the last 20 years. - Explore the changes in food consumption expenditure, produce, processed food, food groups, and other aspects of consumption, and analysing these changes vary by social group, gender, population density, and geographical region.
- Assess changes in household away-from-home food consumption (AFHC).
Don’t miss this opportunity to delve into these critical insights with us!
