03 November 2016Signing Ceremony CDRI-Sida Partnership: July 2016 – June 2021
3 November 2016: A new Swedish Ambassador to Cambodia, Ms. Maria Sargren, and Executive Director of CDRI, Dr Chhem Rethy, signed the agreement for a new five-year core support of Sida, from July 2016 to June 2021. H.E Dr Sok Siphana, Chairman of CDRI’s Board of Directors, also witnessed this important event. CDRI-Sida partnership for 2016-2021 aims to produce high quality development research and make a significant contribution to Cambodia’s national development research culture, capacity, and institution and community awareness of development issues. CDRI strongly appreciated the longstanding and valued support from Sida for CDRI’s research programme and contribution to core operating costs.
