CDRI Economic Updates


Project Description

The CDRI Economic Updates provide regular updates on the state of the economy, specifically by tracking the economic cycle of wealth in Cambodia at both the macroeconomic and micro-household and business levels. It provides a brief summary of economic trends and their implications for each quarter, explaining the potential drivers of the current stage of Cambodia’s economy.

They include:

  • Macroeconomic trends
  • Sectoral outlooks
  • Micro-household and business outlook
  • Long-term development outlook
  • Global outlook and risks


Project Objective

The objective is to provide timely, reliable, and analytical economic updates that inform policy, support private-sector development, and enhance public understanding of economic trends in Cambodia and the region. The project aims to use micro-data and analytical methods to support evidence-based decision-making for policymakers, businesses, researchers, and development partners.
