TOUCH Sou Hong is an intern at the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) under the CDRI Internship Cohort Programme. She is a senior student pursuing a dual degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP) and Political Science from Fort Hays State University (FHSU). Her research interests lie in conflict studies and transitional justice in post-conflict societies. She has done research on cognitive dissonance in the perpetration of genocide, and hopes to further study the effects of politically-motivated practices of justice on intra-personal reconciliation of complex political actors of mass conflicts.

Before joining CDRI, she gained research and policy experience through research fellowships with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Cambodia and the Center for Khmer Studies, as well as from her internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and an apprenticeship where she worked as a research assistant at the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations.
