Research Assistant

Sombath is a Research Assistant at the Center for Policy Research in Agriculture and Rural Development (CPARD), Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI). With a Master's Degree in Water and Environmental Engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) under Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) scholarship, he possesses a solid foundation of knowledge and skills necessary for conducting rigorous research. His M.Eng. thesis examined Pesticide Residues in the Canal Irrigation System of the upper Mekong delta, Cambodia, and he published his research paper in the Indonesian Journal of Limnology (InaJL). His research interests include sustainable agricultural development, environmental conservation, and social agricultural equity.
